Vidhurajātaka

[1022] "It is just so, as you say: you speak the truth, O wise one (paṇḍita). The one who is to be slain would not pay homage [to his slayer], nor would [the slayer] pay homage to the one who is to be slain. How indeed could one pay homage to him whom a man wishes to kill, or have him offer homage [to oneself]? Such a deed does not stand to reason."
