[435] "The sage (muni) does not speak of himself among the high, nor among the equal, nor among the low" — "Muni": knowledge (ñāṇa) is called sagacity (mona) … having transcended the net of ties (saṅgajāla), he is a muni. The muni does not say, does not declare, does not speak, does not explain, does not express: "I am better," or "I am equal," or "I am inferior"; therefore, "the sage does not speak of himself among the high, nor among the equal, nor among the low."
