[525] **"Thus too, having taken up (a view), they dispute" (evampi viggayha vivādayanti):** having thus grasped, learned, seized, misapprehended (parāmasitvā), and adhered to (abhinivisitvā) it, they dispute — they make quarrels, they make strife, they make contention, they make disputes, they make discord, saying: "You do not understand this Dhamma and Discipline (dhammavinaya) … or extricate yourself, if you are able." Thus too, having taken up (a view), they dispute.
