[166] When it is more than two finger-joints, perceiving it as more, she takes [it]: an offense (āpatti) of pācittiya. When it is more than two finger-joints, being in doubt, she takes [it]: an offense of pācittiya. When it is more than two finger-joints, perceiving it as less, she takes [it]: an offense of pācittiya. When it is less than two finger-joints, perceiving it as more: an offense of dukkaṭa. When it is less than two finger-joints, being in doubt: an offense of dukkaṭa. When it is less than two finger-joints, perceiving it as less: no offense.
