[316] When it has not been relinquished, perceiving it as not relinquished, she uses it: an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya). When it has not been relinquished, being in doubt, she uses it: an offense entailing expiation. When it has not been relinquished, perceiving it as relinquished, she uses it: an offense entailing expiation.
When it has been relinquished, perceiving it as not relinquished: an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). When it has been relinquished, being in doubt: an offense of wrong-doing. When it has been relinquished, perceiving it as relinquished: no offense (anāpatti).
