[236] "Whatever (yā pana)": whoever, of whatever sort … "Bhikkhunī": … this is the bhikkhunī intended in this meaning. "A robe subject to transfer (cīvarasaṅkamanīya)": any one of the five robes belonging to one who is fully ordained (upasampannā). If she wears or wraps herself in that robe either not given by her (the owner) or without having asked her, there is an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
