[273] **Whatever:** whoever, of whatever sort … . **Bhikkhunī:** … this one is the bhikkhunī intended in this context. **To a bhikkhunī:** to another bhikkhunī. **Dwelling (upassaya):** what is called a structure closed with a door-panel (kavāṭabaddha). **Having given:** having given it herself. **Angry and displeased:** dissatisfied, with a mind struck (by anger), become obdurate. **Should throw her out** (nikkaḍḍheyya):¹ if, seizing her in the inner room, she throws her out to the porch, there is an offense of expiation (pācittiya). If, seizing her at the porch, she throws her outside, there is an offense of expiation. If with a single effort she makes her pass through even many doors, there is an offense of expiation. **Should cause her to be thrown out:** she commands another — an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). Being commanded once, even if he makes her pass through many doors, there is an offense of expiation.
