[481] **Whatever (yā pana):** whoever, of whatever sort … **Bhikkhunī:** … this is the bhikkhunī intended in this sense. **Without a bodice (asaṅkacchikā):** without the bodice (saṅkacchika). **Bodice (saṅkacchika)** means [a cloth extending] below the collarbone and above the navel, for the purpose of covering that [region]. **Should enter a village:** for one who passes beyond the enclosure of an enclosed village, there is an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya). For one who steps into the vicinity of an unenclosed village, there is an offense entailing expiation.
