[524] **Teach the Dhamma that I might understand.** *Teach the Dhamma*: teach, point out, declare, establish, disclose, analyze, make plain, proclaim that which is good in the beginning … and the practice (paṭipadā) leading to Nibbāna. Hence, "teach the Dhamma." *That I might understand*: that I might know, might understand, might discern, might penetrate, might attain, might touch, might realize. Hence, "teach the Dhamma that I might understand."
