[607] **From Gotama of vast wisdom** (Gotamā bhūripaññāṇā): from Gotama whose vast wisdom is his mark of manifestation, whose knowledge (ñāṇa) is his mark of manifestation; from him whose banner is wisdom, whose standard is wisdom, whose dominant influence is wisdom; who abounds in discrimination, abounds in thorough discrimination, abounds in scrutiny, whose nature is to scrutinize thoroughly; who dwells with things made clear; who is one practicing that, abounding in that, giving weight to that, bending toward that, sloping toward that, inclining toward that, intent upon that, having that as his dominant influence. Hence, "from Gotama of vast wisdom."
