[144] At the moment of the path of once-returning (sakadāgāmimagga), it is right view (sammādiṭṭhi) in the sense of seeing … it is right concentration (sammāsamādhi) in the sense of non-distraction. It emerges from the gross fetter (saṃyojana) of sensual lust (kāmarāga) and the fetter of repulsion (paṭigha), from the gross latent tendency (anusaya) to sensual lust and the latent tendency to repulsion; it emerges from the defilements that follow along with those, and from the aggregates (khandha); and it emerges externally from all signs (nimitta). Therefore it is said: wisdom in emergence and turning away from both is knowledge (ñāṇa) of the path (magga).
