[145] At the moment of the path of non-returning (anāgāmimagga): it is right view (sammādiṭṭhi) in the sense of seeing … it is right concentration (sammāsamādhi) in the sense of non-distraction. It emerges from the fetter of sensual lust (kāmarāga) and the fetter of repulsion (paṭigha) in their residual form (aṇusahagata), and from the latent tendency to sensual lust and the latent tendency to repulsion in their residual form; it emerges from the defilements that follow along with these and from the aggregates; and it emerges externally from all signs (nimitta). Therefore it is said: wisdom in emergence and turning away from both is knowledge (ñāṇa) of the path.
