[191] Unshakeability (akampiya) in the face of faithlessness is a meaning (attha); unshakeability in the face of laziness is a meaning; unshakeability in the face of heedlessness is a meaning; unshakeability in the face of restlessness is a meaning; unshakeability in the face of ignorance (avijjā) is a meaning. The meaning of unshakeability in the face of faithlessness is one thing; the meaning of unshakeability in the face of laziness is another; the meaning of unshakeability in the face of heedlessness is another; the meaning of unshakeability in the face of restlessness is another; the meaning of unshakeability in the face of ignorance is another. By whatever knowledge (ñāṇa) these diverse meanings are known, by that very knowledge these diverse meanings are penetrated. Therefore it is said: wisdom regarding the diversity of meanings is the knowledge of the discrimination of meanings (attha-paṭisambhidā).
