[662] Bhikkhus, these four dhammas, when developed and cultivated, lead to the realization of the fruition of stream-entry (sotāpattiphala). Which four? Association with good and wise persons (sappurisasaṃseva), hearing the good teaching (saddhammassavana), reasoned attention (yonisomanasikāra), and practice in conformity with the Dhamma (dhammānudhammapaṭipatti). These, bhikkhus, are the four dhammas which, when developed and cultivated, lead to the realization of the fruition of stream-entry.
