[227] I gave a fire-hall (aggisālā) to the Blessed One Vipassī,
and for the sick, a dwelling and a receptacle for hot water.
By that deed this personal existence (attabhāva) of mine has been well-fashioned;
I know of no illness — this is the fruit of meritorious deeds.
In the ninety-first aeon from now, when I gave that hall,
I know of no bad destination — this is the fruit of the fire-hall.
And in the seventh aeon from now, I was one, a lord of men,¹
a wheel-turning monarch (cakkavatti) endowed with the seven treasures, of great power.
¹ Ma. and Yu. read: *ekosiṃ aparājito* — "I was one, unconquered."
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and these eight liberations (vimokkha) as well,
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Abyādhika the Elder spoke these verses.
