[93] Shining like a kaṇikāra tree,
seated in a mountain cleft,
I saw the stainless Buddha,
the eldest of the world, the bull of men.
With a mind full of confidence, joyful,
raising my joined palms upon my head,
I took a kāsumārika fruit
and gave it to the supreme Buddha.
In the thirty-first aeon from now —
the fruit that I gave then:
I know of no bad destination;
this is the fruit of the gift of fruit.
My defilements (kilesa) have been burned away;
all existences (bhava) have been uprooted;
like an elephant that has burst its bonds,
I dwell free of taints (āsava).
Welcome indeed was my coming
into the presence of my Buddha;
the three true knowledges (vijjā) have been attained;
the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā)
and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized;
the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Kāsumārikaphaladāyaka Thera spoke these verses.
