[213] Which, on that occasion, is the faculty of joy (somanassindriya)? That which on that occasion is mental comfort, mental happiness; the comfortable, happy felt experience born of mind-contact (cetosamphassa); the comfortable, happy feeling (vedanā) born of mind-contact — this, on that occasion, is the faculty of joy.
