[217] What on that occasion is right thought (sammāsaṅkappa)? That which on that occasion is thinking (takka), thought-conception (vitakka), intention (saṅkappa), fixing (appanā), firm fixing (byappanā), the directing of the mind (cetaso abhiniropanā), right thought — a path factor (maggaṅga), included in the path (maggapariyāpanna) — this on that occasion is right thought.
