[202] Which, on that occasion, is thought-conception (vitakka)? That which on that occasion is thinking (takka), thought-conception (vitakka), thought (saṅkappa), fixing (appanā), firm fixing (byappanā), application of the mind (cetaso abhiniropanā), right thought (sammāsaṅkappa), a path factor (maggaṅga), included in the path (maggapariyāpanna) — this, on that occasion, is thought-conception.
