Abhidhammapiṭaka · Dhammasaṅgaṇī · Vol. 34 · Section 238

[238] What on that occasion is moral dread (ottappa)? That which on that occasion dreads — dreads what ought to be dreaded, dreads the attainment (samāpatti) of evil, unwholesome phenomena (dhammā) — this on that occasion is moral dread.
