[744] Which phenomena (dhammā) are both ties (gantha) and subject to ties (ganthaniya)?

Whatever phenomena are subject to ties through those [tie] phenomena — setting those [tie] phenomena aside, the remaining phenomena accompanied by taints (sāsava), wholesome, unwholesome, and indeterminate, belonging to the sense sphere, the form sphere, and the formless sphere, namely the aggregate of form (rūpakkhandha) … the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha) — these phenomena are subject to ties but not ties.
