[814] These three fetters (saññojana) and the defilements (kilesa) that stand together with them (tadekaṭṭha); the aggregate of feeling (vedanākkhandha) associated with them (taṃsampayutta) … the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha); the bodily action, verbal action, and mental action originated by them (taṃsamuṭṭhāna) — these phenomena (dhammā) are to be abandoned by seeing (dassana).
Which phenomena are not to be abandoned by seeing?
Setting aside those phenomena, the remaining wholesome, unwholesome, and indeterminate phenomena — pertaining to the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), pertaining to the form sphere (rūpāvacara), pertaining to the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), or unincluded (apariyāpanna): the aggregate of feeling … the aggregate of consciousness; and all form (rūpa), and the unconditioned element (asaṅkhatā dhātu) — these phenomena are not to be abandoned by seeing.
