[987] Which phenomena (dhammā) are with conflict (saraṇā)?
The twelve arisings of unwholesome consciousness (akusala-cittuppāda) — these phenomena are with conflict.
Which phenomena are without conflict (araṇā)?
The wholesome (kusala) in the four planes (bhūmi), the resultant (vipāka) in the four planes, the functional indeterminate (kiriyābyākata) in the three planes, and form (rūpa) and Nibbāna — these phenomena are without conflict.
