Abhidhammapiṭaka · Dhammasaṅgaṇī · Vol. 34 · Section 965

[965] Which phenomena (dhammā) are associated with defilements (kilesa-sampayutta)? The twelve arisings of unwholesome consciousness (akusala-cittuppāda) — these phenomena are associated with defilements. Which phenomena are dissociated from defilements (kilesa-vippayutta)? The wholesome (kusala) in the four planes (bhūmi), the resultant (vipāka) in the four planes, the functional indeterminate (kiriyā-abyākata) in the three planes, and form (rūpa) and Nibbāna — these phenomena are dissociated from defilements.
