[921] Which phenomena (dhammā) are associated with fetters (saṃyojana)? Setting aside delusion (moha) accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), the remaining unwholesome (akusala) — these phenomena are associated with fetters.
Which phenomena are dissociated from fetters? Delusion accompanied by restlessness; the wholesome (kusala) on the four planes (bhūmi); the resultant (vipāka) on the four planes; the functional indeterminate (kiriyābyākata) on the three planes; and form (rūpa) and Nibbāna — these phenomena are dissociated from fetters.
