[420] Therein, what is the volitional formation (saṅkhāra) with an unwholesome root (akusala-mūla) as condition? That which is volition (cetanā), intention (sañcetanā), the state of intending (sañcetayitatta) — this is called the volitional formation with an unwholesome root as condition.
