[240] Craving (taṇhā) with feeling (vedanā) as condition, clinging (upādāna) with craving as condition, kamma-existence (kammabhava) with clinging as condition — [each] is associated with three aggregates (khandha), with one sense base (āyatana), and with one element (dhātu); and with one aggregate, one sense base, and one element it is associated with some [phenomena]. From how many is it dissociated? It is dissociated from one aggregate, from ten sense bases, and from sixteen elements; and from one sense base and one element it is dissociated from some [phenomena].
