[1346] S. Is a mind (citta) that has the future as its object (ārammaṇa) without an object (anārammaṇa)? P. Yes. S. Is there not adverting (āvajjanā) … aspiration (paṇidhi) concerning the future? P. Yes. S. If there is adverting … aspiration concerning the future, then indeed, good sir, you should not say: "A mind that has the future as its object is without an object."
