P.: "Should it not be said: 'The person (puggala) is apprehended in a real and ultimate sense (sacchikaṭṭha-paramaṭṭha)'?"
S.: "Yes."
P.: "Is not the Blessed One a speaker of the truth, a speaker at the right time, a speaker of what is, a speaker of what is so, a speaker of what is not untrue, a speaker of what is not otherwise?"
S.: "Yes."
P.: "It was said by the Blessed One: 'There is the person who practices for his own welfare.' Is there indeed such a discourse (suttanta)?"
S.: "Yes."
P.: "In that case, the person is apprehended in a real and ultimate sense."
P.: "Should it not be said: 'The person is apprehended in a real and ultimate sense'?"
S.: "Yes."
P.: "Is not the Blessed One a speaker of the truth, a speaker at the right time, a speaker of what is, a speaker of what is so, a speaker of what is not untrue, a speaker of what is not otherwise?"
S.: "Yes."
P.: "It was said by the Blessed One: 'Bhikkhus, one person, when arising in the world, arises for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, out of compassion for the world, for the good, the welfare, and the happiness of devas and human beings.' Is there indeed such a discourse?"
S.: "Yes."
P.: "In that case, the person is apprehended in a real and ultimate sense."
