[760] P. Is it not to be said that what is liberated is being liberated? S. Yes. P. But was it not said by the Blessed One: "When he knows thus, sees thus, the mind (citta) is liberated even from the taint of sensual desire (kāmāsava); the mind is liberated even from the taint of existence (bhavāsava); the mind is liberated even from the taint of ignorance (avijjāsava)" — is there indeed such a discourse (suttanta)? S. Yes. P. Then indeed, what is liberated is being liberated.
