[839] Sakavādin: Is it not a non-percipient existence (asaññabhava), a non-percipient destination (asaññagati), an abode of non-percipient beings (asaññasattāvāsa), a non-percipient round of rebirth (asaññasaṃsāra), a non-percipient mode of birth (asaññayoni), an acquisition of non-percipient individuality (asaññattabhāvapaṭilābha)?
Paravādin: Yes.
Sakavādin: If it is a non-percipient existence, a non-percipient destination, an abode of non-percipient beings, a non-percipient round of rebirth, a non-percipient mode of birth, an acquisition of non-percipient individuality, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said that perception (saññā) exists among non-percipient beings (asaññasattā).
