[865] P. In the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception (nevasaññānāsaññāyatana), it should not be said either that perception (saññā) exists or that it does not exist — is that so?
S. Yes.
P. Is it not the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception?
S. Yes.
P. If it is the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, then indeed, good sir, it should be said: "In the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception it should not be said either that perception exists or that it does not exist."
