[929] P. Should it not be said: "The Once-Returner (sakadāgāmī) is endowed (samannāgata) with the two fruitions (phala)"? S. Yes. P. But has not the Once-Returner attained the two fruitions, and has he not fallen away from them? S. Yes. P. If the Once-Returner has attained the two fruitions and has not fallen away from them, then indeed, good sir, you should say: "The Once-Returner is endowed with the two fruitions."
