In four persons, in the three feelings (vedanā) of the sense-sphere element (kāmadhātu), the latent tendency to ignorance lies latent in them there, but the latent tendency to lust for existence does not lie latent in them there. In those same persons, in the form element (rūpadhātu) and in the formless element (arūpadhātu), both the latent tendency to ignorance lies latent in them there and the latent tendency to lust for existence lies latent.
