[1295] One who is possessed of the latent tendency of sensual lust (kāmarāgānusaya), the latent tendency of repulsion (paṭighānusaya), and the latent tendency of conceit (mānānusaya) — is that one possessed of the latent tendency of view (diṭṭhānusaya) … the latent tendency of doubt (vicikicchānusaya)?
Two persons are possessed of the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, and the latent tendency of conceit, but are not possessed of the latent tendency of doubt; the ordinary person (puthujjana) is possessed of the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, and the latent tendency of conceit, and is possessed of the latent tendency of doubt.
Or rather, one who is possessed of the latent tendency of doubt — is that one possessed of the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, and the latent tendency of conceit?
