[1511] Where the latent tendency of doubt (vicikicchānusaya) has been abandoned, has the latent tendency of lust for existence (bhavarāgānusaya) been abandoned there?
In the three feelings (vedanā) in the sense-sphere element (kāmadhātu) — here the latent tendency of doubt has been abandoned; the latent tendency of lust for existence should not be said to be either abandoned or not abandoned. In the form element (rūpadhātu) and in the formless element (arūpadhātu) — here both the latent tendency of doubt has been abandoned and the latent tendency of lust for existence has been abandoned.
