[257] "For whomever in whatever [plane] the feeling aggregate (vedanākkhandha) arises, will the perception aggregate (saññākkhandha) cease for that one in that [plane]?"
"Yes (āmantā)."
"Or else, for whomever in whatever [plane] the perception aggregate will cease, does the feeling aggregate arise for that one in that [plane]?"
"For those passing away from a four-constituent (catuvokāra) [plane] or a five-constituent (pañcavokāra) [plane], the perception aggregate will cease for them in that [plane], but the feeling aggregate does not arise for them in that [plane]. For those being reborn into a four-constituent [plane] or a five-constituent [plane], the perception aggregate will cease for them in that [plane], and the feeling aggregate arises."
