[544] For whom the mind base (manāyatana) does not cease, does the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not cease for him?
For those without mind (acittaka) who are passing away, the mind base does not cease, but it is not the case that their dhamma base does not cease. For all those who are being reborn, the mind base does not cease and the dhamma base does not cease.
Or rather, for whom the dhamma base does not cease, does the mind base not cease for him? Yes (āmantā).
