[543] "For whomever the form base (rūpāyatana) does not cease, does the phenomena base (dhammāyatana) not cease for him?"
For formless beings (arūpaka) who are passing away, the form base does not cease for them, yet it is not the case that the phenomena base does not cease for them. For all who are being reborn, the form base does not cease for them and the phenomena base does not cease.
"Or rather, for whomever the phenomena base does not cease, does the form base not cease for him?"
Yes.
