[561] For whomever, wherever, the mind base (manāyatana) will cease, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) cease for that one there?
Yes.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will cease, will the mind base cease for that one there?
For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā) … For those of four constituents (catuvokāra) and those of five constituents (pañcavokāra), for them there both the dhamma base will cease and the mind base will cease.
Just as in the arising section (uppādavāra) the questions concerning the future have been set forth in detail in the "of whom, where" (yassa-yattha) division, so too should they be set forth in detail in the cessation [section].
