[774] For whomever the mind base (manāyatana) does not arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) of that one not cease?
For all who are passing away, and for those without mind (acittakā) who are being reborn, the mind base does not arise; but it is not the case that the dhamma base of those will not cease. For those who are attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), the mind base does not arise and the dhamma base will not cease.
Or rather, for whomever the dhamma base will not cease, does the mind base not arise for that one?
