Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 474

[474] For whomever the mind base (manāyatana) does not arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not arise for that one? For all who are passing away, and for the mindless (acittaka) who are being reborn, the mind base does not arise for them; but it is not the case that the dhamma base will not arise for them. For those who are attaining final Nibbāna, the mind base does not arise for them and the dhamma base will not arise. Or rather, for whomever the dhamma base will not arise, does the mind base not arise for that one? For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn, the dhamma base will not arise for them; but it is not the case that the mind base does not arise for them. For those who are attaining final Nibbāna, the dhamma base will not arise for them and the mind base does not arise.
