[325] For whomever the nose base (ghānāyatana) does not arise, does the mind base (manāyatana) not arise for him?
For those without nose (aghānaka) but with mind (sacittaka) who are being reborn, the nose base does not arise, but it is not the case that the mind base does not arise for them. For all who are passing away, and for those without mind (acittaka) who are being reborn, for them the nose base does not arise and the mind base does not arise.
Or, for whomever the mind base does not arise, does the nose base not arise for him?
