[324] "For whomever the nose base (ghānāyatana) does not arise, does the form base (rūpāyatana) not arise for that one?"
"For those without nose (aghānaka) but with form (sarūpaka) who are being reborn, the nose base does not arise for them, but it is not the case that the form base does not arise for them. For all who are passing away, and for those without form (arūpaka) who are being reborn, for them both the nose base does not arise and the form base does not arise."
"Or else, for whomever the form base does not arise, does the nose base not arise for that one?"
"Yes."
