Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 304

[304] For whomever the form base (rūpāyatana) arises, does the mind base (manāyatana) arise for that one? For those without mind (acittaka) who are being reborn, the form base arises for them, but the mind base does not arise for them. For those with form (sarūpaka) and with mind (sacittaka) who are being reborn, for them both the form base arises and the mind base arises. Or else, for whomever the mind base arises, does the form base arise for that one? For those without form (arūpaka) who are being reborn, the mind base arises for them, but the form base does not arise for them. For those with mind and with form who are being reborn, for them both the mind base arises and the form base arises.
