[452] For whomever the form base (rūpāyatana) arises, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) arise for that one?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn into the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), the form base arises for them, but the dhamma base will not arise for them. For the others, possessing form (sarūpaka), who are being reborn, for them both the form base arises and the dhamma base will arise.
Or rather, for whomever the dhamma base will arise, does the form base arise for that one?
For all who are passing away, and for those without form (arūpaka) who are being reborn, the dhamma base will arise for them, but the form base does not arise for them. For those possessing form who are being reborn, for them both the dhamma base will arise and the form base arises.
