[465] For whomever, wherever, the mind base (manāyatana) arises, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) arise for that one there?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn, the mind base arises for them there, but the dhamma base will not arise for them there. For the others, possessing mind (sacittaka), who are being reborn, the mind base arises for them there and the dhamma base will arise.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will arise, does the mind base arise for that one there?
For all who are passing away and for those without mind (acittaka) who are being reborn, the dhamma base will arise for them there, but the mind base does not arise for them there. For those possessing mind who are being reborn, the dhamma base will arise for them there and the mind base arises.
