Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 427

[427] For whomever, wherever, the mind base (manāyatana) arises, did the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) arise for that one there? For those being reborn into the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa), the mind base arises for them there, but the dhamma base did not arise for them there; for the others with mind (sacittaka) who are being reborn, the mind base arises for them there and the dhamma base arose. Or, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base arose, does the mind base arise for that one there? For all who are passing away and for those without mind (acittaka) who are being reborn, the dhamma base arose for them there, but the mind base does not arise for them there; for those with mind who are being reborn, the dhamma base arose for them there and the mind base arises.
