[327] "For whomever the form base (rūpāyatana) does not arise, does the mind base (manāyatana) not arise for that one?"
For those without form (arūpaka) who are being reborn, the form base does not arise for them, yet it is not the case that the mind base does not arise for them. For all who are passing away, both the form base does not arise and the mind base does not arise for them.
"Or rather, for whomever the mind base does not arise, does the form base not arise for that one?"
For those without mind (acittaka) who are being reborn, the mind base does not arise for them, yet it is not the case that the form base does not arise for them. For all who are passing away, both the mind base does not arise and the form base does not arise for them.
