[329] For whom the mind base (manāyatana) does not arise, does the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not arise for that one?
For those without mind (acittaka) who are being reborn, the mind base does not arise for them, but it is not the case that the dhamma base does not arise for them. For all who are passing away, both the mind base does not arise for them and the dhamma base does not arise.
Or, for whom the dhamma base does not arise, does the mind base not arise for that one?
Yes (āmantā).
